• Some pitfalls in lower limb pathology in children and adolescents

    Abstract : We are frequently confronted with problems of bones of joints in children or adolescents. In some cases, the symptoms suggest a benign pathology which is then confirmed by imaging investigations. In rarer cases, a false diagnosis is made which ignores a more serious underlying aetiology. This article illustrates some of these difficulties and underlines the symptoms or findings which may help reach the correct diagnosis
