Pulmonary and testicular sarcoidosis revealed by optic disc edema

Rev Med Liege 2024, 79(2),68-72Abstract : Sarcoidosis is a chronic inflammatory granulomatous disease of unknown aetiology. Although the lungs and thoracic lymph nodes are the most frequently affected structures, every tissue can be affected. Ophthalmological involvement occurs in 25 % of cases. We report a clinical case in which the diagnosis of sarcoidosis was revealed by isolated unilateral optic disc edema.
