Abstract : The frailty syndrome is a dynamic and evolving geriatric concept, involving many dimensions of everyday life and leading to a risk of developing a loss of daily life and autonomy. Although there is no consensual definition, the consequences remain major : risk of functional decompensation, multiplication of hospitalizations, dependence in the activities of the daily life, institutionalization and increase of the mortality.
