Abstract : Alcohol dependence is a chronic and multifactorial disease with well-identified neurobiological substrates and a high relapse rate. Personalized psychological and pharmacological therapeutic interventions may improve its prognosis, although stigmatization of the disease may contribute to a deep treatment gap.
