Rev Med Liege 2017, 72(4),211-213Abstract : The diagnosis of invasion of the carotid axis preoperatively is extremely helpful and determines the therapeutic approach as well as the prognosis for patients with tumours of the upper aerodigestive tract. A review of literature to refine the radiological choice between the different existing techniques is provided. It appears that echography gives excellent results.
