Abstract : Heart failure is a major public health problem in industrialized countries. Its prognosis remains poor. The new European recommendations for heart failure management allow validation of the latest advances in the field. This article focuses on the definition, classification and treatment of chronic heart failure. Indeed, there are new aspects to consider such as, a new classification, a new therapeutic class and new remote monitoring solutions.
