Abstract : Already known as the first cause of mortality in men, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is nowadays a major cause of cancer-related death in women. Its approach relies on a thorough locoregional and extra-thoracic assessment allowing a precise staging which not only has prognostic value, but also determines the therapeutic options. This review presents the current multidisciplinary strategy agreement on the treatment of NSCLC.
