Rev Med Liege 2014, 69(11),618-621Abstract : The stratum corneum materializes the interface between the body and its environment. Such a structure is influenced by the climate and seasons. A series of physico-chemical parameters are involved in this relationship. Among them, the relative humidity, the dew point, the insensible loss of water and the concepts of water-as-ice and the higgledy-piggledy-water.
