Abstract : Intracellular Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinases (MAPK) form a signalling cascade of proteins involved in cell proliferation, differentiation, migration and apoptosis. They are particularly activated by some cytokines, hormones, environmental stress and in skin cancers as well. A series of pharmacological compounds targeting the MAPK cascade dramatically changes skin cancerology, at least during a transient phase of the metastatic process. Some combined treatments possibly increase the median overall survival.
