Rev Med Liege 2008, 63(3),119-121Abstract : The metabolism of drugs is altered in dialysed patients. We report three clinical cases of neurological toxicity from cefepime in dialysed patient. This molecule can induce in renal insufficiency patients various reversible neurological manifestations like metabolic encephalopathy, myoclonies, or a state of status epilepticus that mimics sometimes a coma in spite of adequate dosing.
