Abstract : The American Heart Association (AHA) has once again released its “top ten research advances in heart disease and stroke” for the past year. A place of choice is devoted to stroke as well as to pediatric cardiology and to prevention of heart disease in childhood and adolescence. As is the case every year, reading the selected articles is rich of enlightment and the source of a good many thoughts.
